PPS has a team of efficient and energetic teachers who are well aware of the expectations of this noble profession. They impart technology-based education and motivate students to prepare seminars and projects and also help them to use technology to develop self-literacy. They guide the students with patience and perseverance and inculcate good habits and manners in the students. They introduce innovative activities in the classroom encourage students to think critically and analyse practically.
All Grades
Kindergarten
A child’s entry into kindergarten is his first venture into the world. No fears and no tears at PPS because school is their second home. The air conditioned rooms with colourful, furniture create a sense of comfort and ease. The attractive wall papers are a treasury by themselves, offering much scope for excavations for the little genius. They learn to recite, sing, narrate, communicate and write in English and Tamil. Observation, participation and interaction form part of their routine work. Campus promenades and trips, assemblies and activities, celebrations and fun time play an important role in their lifetime habit setting –discipline, team spirit patience and acceptance. Much importance is given to cleanliness and personal hygiene.
Primary Level – Grade I to V
Time to lay a strong foundation on which our students could build a fabulous future. They are trained to think and act individually, approach and solve problems practically, enjoy activities and appreciate innovations aesthetically. They are made to read independently, speak fluently, think positively, involve whole heartedly, analyse critically and act sensibly. The class room activities, exhibitions, projects, presentations and competitions give them confidence. They imbibe moral values and learn to be disciplined and decent.
Middle School – Grade VI and VII
A perfect academic schedule with proper integrated learning is offered at this stage. Learning is made easy through hands – on – experience. The classroom activities like group discussions, debates, quiz and seminars go a long way in moulding them and enhancing their critical thinking. Their bubbling energy is channelized into different Scholastic, Co-Scholastic areas and Sports. They are encouraged to participate in competitions and in all co-curricular and extracurricular activities. The House System paves the way for team spirit and instils leadership qualities. Morals and values of life are integrated parts of their learning modules. Self-learning and self-reading are encouraged. Communication skills are developed.
